Name; Artemis Gender; Male Age; 4 Years Breed; Thoroughbred Appearance; Being a Thoroughbred, Artemis is very muscluar. His muscles ripple under his velvety coat, which is a very beautiful shade of bay. His coat looks like the shade of milk chocolate, and it's very silky. His eyes are the shade of dark chocolate, rich and intelligent.
Thoroughbred's usually have very long legs. Artemis is no excuse. His legs are very long, and very powerful. He is meant for racing, and came from generations of winners. His fraternal twin, Athena, has the same rippling and powerful build as him. They were sired by a champion, and born to a champion mother. Both destined to be a champion.
Artemis looks very much like his mother, a beautiful dark chestnut mare, with a billowing ebony mane and tail. Her beauty is very obvious, which makes Artemis look very handsome. They both have the same eyes and black stalkings on their legs. However, their mother, Sass O' Frass, well know as Sassy, had a white blaze, while Artemis has a star.
The stallion has matured alot. His head grew in stronger, no more coltish roundness. All his coltish leg and awkwardness has gone, and replaced with a new, handsome and graceful stallion. Artemis's mane is a rich, light chestnut, as while his tail is the same shade. He is growing, and is quite large now. Soon, he'll be full size of about 16 and a half hands.
Personality; Artemis is a stallion you'll probobly never, ever forget. He will run in your dreams, and leave you feeling breathless. He'll give you that adrenaline rush you haven't had for such a long time. He is the most handsome, fastest, and complex thing out there today. Every stallion relishes him. His figure is perfect, his attitude mysterious and hilarious at the same time.
The dazzler himself like to play tricks and games, but he is very sincere. He would never hurt any female, because it is in his nature to protect. He will go to any means possible to protect his herd or family, and will even offer his life. Although, he may be sweet, a true ladie's gentleman, there is a not-so-soft side to him. If a stallion did as much as challange him with a glare, he was off. His temper would just- SNAP! He would lose it. Don't tempt his anger.. Or else.
Artemis is affectionate and gentle, but he is always a formidable fighter. He knows some good tricks, like pretending to be fatally wounded, have the challanger come closer to make sure- and then he'd go ballistic. His teeth will always snap just infront of his apponent's face, and he is willing to fight till the end. Nothing will stop this guy from victory. He is truely a danger fighting, a lethal weapon.
This big grizzly is a born leader. He loves helping others, and like I mentioned before, would die to protect his herd and his family. Nothing is out to stop him from that. He had it sworn that he would always protect his sister, even at life's cost. However, Athena never made that easy for him. He knows just how to calm someone down when they're worked up.
History; Where can I start? It's Artemis! Him and his fraternal twin, Athena, were born the same day, within the same hour. He, of course, was oldest. His mother, Sass O' Frass, was a champion racer. A beautiful chestnut, much like Artemis himself. His father, a handsome dappled gray champion named After Shock, looked much like his youngest sister. When a wild mustang was brought to the ranch when they were only a year or so old, Athena became immediatly interested. Stone, the solid black mustang, told her everything about the wild. Naturally, she wanted a taste. And naturally, Artemis went with her, to protect her like he promised his parents he would.
Escaping wasn't too hard. They jumped a couple fences, and ran until they couldn't put one hoof infront of another. When they were finally free, the came into two new herd lands. Artemis wanted to live with the herd called Acceil. Much to the worries of Artemis, Athena went to reside with Acceil's sworn enemy, Clestia. How could he protect his younger sister now? Often, he kept a watch full eye on her, refusing to even lay a hoof or nip on her beautiful coat. Why did she have to go and make things so difficult?
